Best Weekend Shoes – Frye Regina Ballet Flat

Something that you’ll love to wear when you’re not in the office.  

A metallic pointy toe flat is an easy and comfortable way to dress up your weekend wardrobe. The FRYE Regina Ballet Flat comes in a beautiful range of colors and textures, but my favorite is this silver crackle. I tried the shoes on expecting to prefer the rose gold crackle, but I like how the silver has a more uniform color and sheen. I’ve also found that silver shoes – more than any other metallic – pick up the colors of your clothes.

This shoe gives you the comfort of a ballet flat, but the pointy toe is dressier and elongates your leg. I found that the shoes ran narrow and I needed to go up one half size – you’ll lose the comfort if your toes are crammed into the front of the shoe. One last detail I love is the laced tie on the heel – very pretty!     I have not heard of this brand, but this looks like a very useful shoe. I avoid heels as much as possible so I’m always looking for good flats for work. A pointed toe is always a plus, but I prefer the solid colors rather than the metallic colors.

    I recently saw this shoe in person and I liked the “bling” factor. I have a very high arch though, do you think I could do this shoe?

      Unfortunately this shoe is like most ballet flats in that it does not have arch support – it’s comfortable but flat. You might be able to use inserts for more arch support.
